Our chefs have built up a wide reputation. It's traditional English
fare all home-made, seasonal & local where possible. There are always
plenty of choices including vegetarian dishes. Our menus change regularly
and our specials boards change daily. Wherever possible we use local
suppliers. It's all complimented with a wine list and most are available
by the glass. If the restaurant is full you are more than welcome to
eat in the bar (or Garden, during the summer months), where we serve
the same menu as the restaurant.
Our pub's trouble free atmosphere is maintained by a relaxed yet efficient
approach to service by our friendly staff and is a good meeting place
to which people come from far and wide.
